In France, there are around fifty Montessori schools, and new schools open their doors every year (for preschool, primary, and middle school levels). Les Enfants de la Ruche school is the only one located in the Basque Country.
The two main Montessori "institutions" in France are the Montessori Association of France and Tout Montessori en France.
